Thomas Carl Roderer, 63, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020. Tom was born January 10, 1957 in West Chester, PA to the late Theodore and Pauline Roderer. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1974 and settled in the Borough of Downingtown where he lived for 40 years. Tom proudly served as the Vice President of the Borough Council for eight years. He is survived by Patty, his wife of 41 years, two children Carla (Dave) Denbraven and Amber (Bryant) Larsen, three grandchildren, one brother and four sisters.

Tom was a true do-it-yourself man who loved working on projects, including building himself a shed, and welding his own motorcycle rack to tow his bike around the country. Tom found great joy in solving problems through his many inventions. He was known by his patented vice grip belt buckle that he wore everyday. Tom was passionate about motorcycles, traveling the country in his motorhome, growing his own food in his garden and listening to Frank Zappa.
