Roxie Darlene Bussert, age 81, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on October 8, 2023. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born in 1942, she was the daughter of the late Vernine and Vera (Conliff) Bussert. Roxie was the youngest of 5 children who grew up in Gas City, Indiana - all who are now deceased. She moved to Rhode Island after high school in the early 1960s, and eventually to Pennsylvania where she remained for over 30 years. Roxie enjoyed cooking, going to concerts, boating, and babysitting; and she loved cats. She also loved watching the Philadelphia Phillies. Roxie was the most kind-hearted and sweetest woman - and would help anyone. Most of her life was dedicated to helping others by housekeeping and baby/child sitting. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held at the chapel at St Martha’s Manor Nursing Home in Downingtown, PA.
